This is an invaluable part of the Beyblade lineup if you have younger children.
A friends kid had these tops and I thought they looked like a lot of fun, and so did my kids. My kids are younger than the reccomended age (it suggest 8+, and mine are 3 and 4) but they wanted to play with them. However the launchers that the tops come with are too difficult for them to use. The wind and shoot launchers made it easy for them to use, and now they love playing with them. Without them, it would be too difficult and frustrating.
Highly recommend it for younger kids.

Our boys used their birthday money to purchase the Beyblade Metal Fusion Battle Set and wanted to add two Metal Fusion Battle Gear Wind and Shoot Launchers. The two tops in the Battle Set spin in opposite directions, so the 'hooks' to hold them in the included rip cord launchers are also opposite and work just fine. However, while this Wind and Shoot Launcher worked with one top, the other one simply fell out since it couldn't attach properly because the 'hooks' only go in same direction for both. I looked online and on Hasbro and could not find any information on how we could make this item work with both tops. Included instructions didn't help either. After using the rip cords included in the set and trading the one launcher that worked, our boys said using the rip cord was more fun.
