I purchased this game for game night. My buddies and I have played many other card games based on old board games (scrabble, monopoly, yahtzee and sorry). This game is fun and goes fairly rapidly, but some of the guidelines are not clear. Some cards say that you can have only 1 per life (passport, marriage) but other individuals don't. For instance "profession" cards. In the board game of life you have 1 but in this game the card doesn't say. So can you have 2? Same thing with a home I've continually wanted a holiday dwelling. As long as you determine how you are going to play with these cards ahead of starting factors will go a lot smoother. We lastly assumed that the cards with a "book with an atom on it" indicates you have to have a passport prior to you can play/do that adventure. So would I suggest this game? If element of a game night with other games its fine, but if you only have to choose 1 card game based on a board game I would have to advise sorry revenge be the 1. This game is even more enjoyable the sillier the story you tell as you play a card!
As a child, I loved the board game Life growing up since it allowed me to dream about the future. It also helped me to start understanding that life was based on choices that lead to outcomes: go to college or not.
1st of all, the card game is not as beneficial as the board game however, if you are hunting for a somewhat quick game that you can play with your kids that has some of the similar enjoyable capabilities of Life then invest in this. As an adult, I bought this game due to the truth that I perform with kids as a counselor. I wanted to come across some thing enjoyable in which I could begin teaching the significance of having objectives and dreaming about the future. This card game allowed me to get rid of the quite a few pieces of a board game and just concentrate on the message in a enjoyable way. The teens I played it with enjoyed it. Following they laid out their story in front of them card by card, at the finish they had a life they could be proud of general. It led to a lot of discussions about current options and what 1 have to do to be thriving. To tell you the truth, this is a perfect parenting game. And if it's just kids playing, its often enjoyable to dream!
