It's quite solid and very heavy. Nice detail. It is quite morbid but pretty cool. I'm unsure as to how significantly of a collectible this will be even though as it came in a non descript black box with no paperwork and I couldn't get a single detail anywhere signifying who made it, who made it, how many, etc. Other statues will at times have the artist signature on the bottom and say some thing like "752 of 5,000." This does not do this. Plus, as I stated the box is not from some type of toy or collectible corporation. I searched e bay and could not locate it listed anywhere and I looked around on the net for about 15 minutes (hardly exhaustive search, I admit) and couldn't obtain something other than this amazon listing and the listing from the collectible shop where this is sold (Maybangs). Interestingly, going straight to Maybangs site has this item with a list price of $129.99 but on sale for $60.00 there. Of course, Amazon states list value of $249.99 with sale of $49.99 and it's sold via Maybangs. The Amazon listing contains the precise very same wording as the Maybang webpage. In brief the product itself is superb and was worth the $50. Yet if you are hoping to buy this at $50 and stash it away and sell it for a bunch much more down the road then I'm afraid you might be disappointed. I could be wrong about this of course but with out any type of pedigree and completely no info on the internet and none selling on e bay you may possibly have a tough time convincing people today it wasn't crafted in some Goth's garage and sold to you for $20 at a garage sale. i am not the largest venom fan but i like a good statue and lord knows there are a ton of bad and/or lame ones out there but this is not one of those. this a single is fairly impressive. what i consistently look for is detail, specially in the muscles, and this one particular has that in spades. the physique is super impressive and catches your eye. the only factor i don't like about this statue is that i believe they went overkill with the teeth and tongue. he looks a tiny bucktoothed and the tongue is overboard...it does take away from the statue but just slightly. and the ideal factor is that this $200 statue was just [...] bucks on amazon. that's a bargain, as far as decent statues go!
