Consumer Critiques

Von Nebula is amazing. I've been acquiring other models and avoinding this one for some unknown purpose and lastly grabbed it. I feel the design on these Hero Factory Villans is surpasing the style of some earlier Bionicles. Not all, but some...
The physique create is heavy and thick. Well developed in my opinion. Stands tall, around 10+ inches. Sorry I don't have the toy on hand when I am writting my critique. I knocked a point off of durability for a couple of little particulars.
1. Arms are cheaply developed. They ARE powerful, but there are only two joints. His shoulders move nicely and have the a-typical dual ball/socket design seen on other huge boss-like models (Rotor, Tuma...). However, this piece goes straight to his "hand". The hand does swivel on it is own joint, but thats it. two joints = silly seeking if you certainly appear at the model. T-rex comes to mind.
2. Legs. The legs are built pretty solid and also have the dual ball joint build. Rather flexible for posing. Enjoy the leg pistons, too. Hoever, there are a number of points exactly where posts holding the legs together weren't "capped" so the exposed post is just hanging out. I thought this was dumb. Rotor's had been all capped... The upper leg armor piece is not best either. It just flaps on the leg on a hinge. Absolutely nothing significant, but not my favorite.
three. The "neck" is definitely quite loose. You can manually squeeze a few best pieces together to prevent the neck from slipping, but over time you will notice the head drooping. It is just a tiny also heavy for design. Nonetheless functional by all indicates.
Thats about it. I think this is still an great addition to any Bionicle fan's line up (I know it really is Hero Factory). Staff is ominous and fantastic for a super villan weapon. Well colored. Oh, and the spikey shoulder pads are rubbery, vice tough, plastic, sharp points. Rather soft and flexible. No injury worries if you were concerned.
Entertaining to do. I've noticed most of these characters helmets are still good looking when reversed. Von Nebula's helmet looks superb inverted. Executioner seeking mask with horns, but no eyes (vice a gas mask scarab issue with pinchers). Just a thought.

My nephew opened and loved this Lego set, deciding upon to assemble it in his personal way rather than following the directions. He was really proud of his creativity in assembling this "guy" in his personal way.
