This doll was purchased(by request)for my daughter who turned 7 this week. With out a flash it was like filming in the dark. It was relatively quick to use. The editing software package was not as simple and easy. If you have studio lighting in your household you might not have a trouble. I personally really feel that this problem will outcome in a price reduction in the close to future. We have decided to get a child friendly camcorder with a "Flash" and just get one more Barbie doll. Thank you.
