I recently bought this residence from Amazon.com. I am pretty happy with my obtain. The ideal deal for this property is on Amazon, as shipping was no cost and no tax! It arrived super quick even with super saver shipping, and with nothing at all broken amazingly sufficient mainly because it was simply shipped in the house's actual box and not put inside one other shipping box--so beware if you are obtaining this as a surprise gift possibly ship it to a friend's residence or work as your youngster will know what is inside!
The lights and sound operate excellent--even though I had to put the batteries in and out twice to get the sounds to function, not positive why. One other customer was ideal, the elevator is the trickest portion to put together--but I found that I was trying the to fit the leading clip in the opposite way, oopsy. Once I fixed that, it only took me a further minute to clip in. I was reading some critiques on a further toy website, and many people had been getting difficulty getting the fireplace to operate--I did also till I realized that it was shipped with the fireplace not absolutely snapped into the back wall. As soon as I pushed the fireplace back into its clips on the back wall, it worked wonderful! I am so excited about this doll property. It will make a awesome display for my collector dolls. The only problem I see is how in the planet I am going to move this home if I move someplace else as it is really massive and does not look like it can readily be taken apart. I bought this to give to my daughter for her birthday. The residence is substantial. It was very easy to assemble. The hardest element and what took the longest was the elevator. I had a difficult time acquiring this small plastic piece to snap into the top to make the elevator go up and down. I believe I worked on the elevator for at least a half hour. That was practically as lengthy as it took me to assemble the rest of the house and apply the stickers. It is sturdy and will hold up to hours of playing I am certain. The lights more than the hot tub came with batteries. I will still need to decide to purchase some AA to make the rest of the lights and sound function. This is really comparable to the Barbie dream house I don't forget a friend of mine having in the 70's. I believe it really is a good value for the revenue and very entertaining. I wish I had gotten to play with this growing up. I look forward to playing with it and my daugther.
