I bought this game for $24.99 prior to email discount straight from the Leapfrog site for my grandson's 4th birthday. He has been playing games on the laptop at school, laptop at house and my iphone,so we thought he was prepared for a process he could play on his own. I thought this game would aid teach him how to write and draw. He can already recognize his letters and numbers. He stayed household sick from pre-K right now and his mom stated he was content material to play this game for a really good portion of the day. He chose to play Mr. Pencil over Toy Story three and Dora! Outstanding gaming system for a preschooler. Would recommend you sign up on the Leapfrog webpage to get their emails so you can take advantage of their email discounts, as well.

I have played this game to check out what my son would be playing and I can see why he gets frustrated. The game freezes for 30 seconds at instances (Yes, I essentially timed it)and it can be too sensitive for a person studying to write. I have watched my son attempt to draw on the dotted line and if he barely gets off the line it tends to make him get started the entire drawing more than. Adore the game concept and certainly like what it teaches but it demands some improvements.
