Buyer Evaluations

For starters, the LEGO Creator homes are great. They are properly constructed, can be built three totally different ways, and have a lot of neat attributes. This set fits that bill. The reason for it is somewhat strange name - 'Apple Tree House'. That is considering that there is an apple tree in the yard. :-) The name had me scratching my head until I built the apple tree.
I got this set, amongst other individuals, for my dad. He's in his 70's and can not get about like he made use of to, but he actually enjoys making the Creator houses. Based solely on his experience with the construction I think this set is a small more difficult than some of the others, even larger sets which he has built. The primary reason is considering the roof more than the garage is a couple of bricks lower than the major roof. This certainly confused my dad. Also, LEGO instructions are troublesome to follow quite often. This does not take substantially away from the set. It is pretty substantially as enjoyable as all the other sets and practically as quite.
It has numerous actually neat touches - satellite dish, basketball target, lawn mower, and of course an apple tree. :-) It even has a downspout and outside spigote.
My dad stated it must have came with a automobile to pull into the garage.

I bought this set for my daugter who just turned 9. I believed it was one of the couple of that wasn't completely geared to boys. She loved putting it together and now has it displayed in her area. As with all Legos, you can "play" with it gently but a thing in most cases falls apart while very easy adequate to repair. I bought this on-line given that I was short on time for shopping about and hadn't observed it in the retailers. But inside a month of purchasing, I did see this set at Toys R Us for cheaper than what I paid! That is what you get for convenience but it was worth it.
